A word from our Chairman
It is an exciting time to do business in Saudi Arabia. Significant commercial and social reforms, and the implementation of business-friendly measures have elevated the kingdom’s position in international rankings and supported the achievement of many milestones in our shared journey towards the realization of Vision 2030.
Localization is a key driver of this shared vision and Sawafi’s strategy is to localize the majority of our products in our new facility at SPARK. Localization requires collaboration, the building of infrastructure and knowledge transfer so that our aspiring local talent are equipped to effectively respond to the unique and dynamic local market needs. Vision 2030’s focus on people development is a great facilitator of localisation with further emphasis being placed on quality graduates who are empowered with technology and market readiness, and corporate training and development programs to ensure employees can adapt to market changes. At Sawafi, we are working closely with Saudi Aramco and universities as key enablers of technology innovation, and to bridge the gap between education and the workforce which will also support the sustainability of the start-up ecosystem and strengthen and diversify the private sector.
